HONG KONG, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted Flores Region, Indonesia, at 0046 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Center for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 8.57 degrees south latitude and 121.55 degrees east longitude. ■
