ISLAMABAD, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Two civilians were killed and two others injured when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated on a civilian logistics vehicle in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, police sources said on Monday.
The incident occurred on Sunday at around 3 p.m. local time in the provincial capital of Quetta, the sources told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
The vehicle was carrying water pipeline material when it was targeted by the IED, the police said.
Bodies of the deceased and the injured had been shifted to a hospital in Quetta, according to the sources.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet. Endit em
