BEIJING, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Solomon Islands at 2023 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 62.6 km, was initially determined to be at 10.31 degrees south latitude and 161.94 degrees east longitude. ■
