KABUL, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan's first international agriculture and livestock exhibition opened in Kabul on Tuesday, bringing together about 500 domestic and foreign companies, the official Bakhtar News Agency reported on Wednesday.
The exhibition aims to showcase Afghan agricultural products, promote their marketing, and expand cooperation and investment in the country's agriculture sector, according to the report.
The event is expected to provide a platform for businesses to promote agricultural products, explore new markets and strengthen cooperation between Afghan and international companies in the agriculture and livestock sectors. ■
