ISLAMABAD, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- Fifteen militants were killed in multiple intelligence-based operations conducted by Pakistan's security forces in southwest Balochistan province, the military's media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday.
According to the ISPR, the operations were carried out in Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai and Nushki districts of the province.
The operations resulted in the killing of 15 militants, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from them, the ISPR said.
The effective operations have inflicted significant damage on the militants' network and restricted their movement, according to the statement.
Security forces remain determined to continue operations without interruption until terrorism is completely eliminated, the military said. ■
