BANGKOK, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- A car lost control and crashed into a children's development center in Thailand's western province of Kanchanaburi on Friday, leaving at least 13 children injured, according to Thai media reports.
There were 34 children sleeping in the center when a car lost control while turning and crashed through the wall, causing the wall to collapse and shatter, with cement fragments flying and hitting the children.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver lost control of the vehicle due to a sudden illness. The driver and passengers also suffered minor injuries. Currently, all the injured have been sent to the hospital for treatment. ■
