KABUL, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- A total of 325 Afghan migrants returned to Afghanistan after being released from detention centers and prisons in Pakistan, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said, the local media TOLOnews reported on Thursday.
The returnees entered the country through the Torkham and Spin Boldak border crossings after being freed from Pakistani custody, the report said.
The returnees included families, children and single individuals who had been detained in Pakistan for varying periods and for different reasons, the report added.
The returnees received assistance from partner organizations upon arrival before being transported to their home areas. ■
