KABUL, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Seven armed robbers were killed in an exchange of fire with police in the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said.
The armed robbers were killed in counterfire with police in Police District 8 of Kabul at around 9 p.m. Saturday night, Zadran confirmed in a statement posted on his social platform X early Sunday.
Police also discovered a car and a number of arms and ammunition from the deceased alleged robbers, the statement added.
A security personnel was injured in the incident, the official confirmed without providing more details. ■
