HANOI, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's capital Hanoi welcomed an estimated 21.16 million tourist arrivals in the first seven months of 2026, up 15 percent year on year, local daily Lao Dong reported on Thursday, citing the municipal Department of Tourism.
Of the total, international arrivals reached 5.31 million, an increase of 25 percent, while domestic visitor arrivals totaled 15.85 million, up 11.9 percent from the same period last year.
Tourism revenue during the period was estimated at 86.47 trillion Vietnamese dong (about 3.4 billion U.S. dollars), up 17.9 percent year on year.
Dang Huong Giang, director of Hanoi's Department of Tourism, said the city will continue developing agricultural, rural and community-based tourism products in August, while organizing tourism promotion programs and participating in international travel fairs. ■
