India's forex reserves rise by over 1 bln USD in 1 week

NEW DELHI, July 24 (Xinhua) -- India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves increased by 1.08 billion U.S. dollars to 676.237 billion U.S. dollars during the week ended July 17, according to the latest weekly bulletin released by the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), on Friday.

The Foreign Currency Assets increased by 4.549 billion U.S. dollars to 551.057 billion U.S. dollars, and the Gold Reserves fell by 3.48 billion U.S. dollars to 101.749 billion U.S. dollars.
