JAKARTA, July 22 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's central bank on Wednesday decided to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 5.75 percent following a two-day policy meeting.
Bank Indonesia also maintained its deposit facility rate at 4.75 percent and lending facility rate at 6.50 percent, while continuing measures to support rupiah stability and economic growth.
It also announced that it would expand incentives and take measures to attract foreign portfolio inflows, promote the development of the foreign exchange market, and increase liquidity in the market and banking sector.
Bank Indonesia said the country's economic growth remained solid, underpinned by domestic demand, and forecast the economy to expand by between 4.9 percent and 5.7 percent in 2026. ■
