JAKARTA, July 20 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono and Chilean Foreign Minister Francisco Perez Mackenna agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation across strategic sectors during a meeting held here on Monday.
"We agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in strategic sectors, including critical minerals, science and technology, agriculture, and healthcare," Sugiono said via his official social media account.
Both foreign ministers highlighted the importance of promoting business-to-business collaboration to maximize the implementation of the Indonesia-Chile Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
Beyond economic ties, Indonesia and Chile reaffirmed their shared commitment to supporting Global South solidarity to foster a fair, inclusive, and sustainable global order. ■
