BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 19 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's Economic Students' Chamber organized a session examining the role of the economy in shaping society through a perspective grounded in human values, official media reported on Sunday.
According to Pelita Brunei, the event provided participants with insights into how economic thinking can be guided by empathy, ethics and social responsibility while addressing contemporary challenges.
Discussions covered a range of issues relevant to Brunei and the Southeast Asian region, including economic diversification, youth development, public policy formulation, artificial intelligence, the future of work and the importance of balancing economic efficiency with human values. ■
