KABUL, July 17 (Xinhua) -- Two travelers lost their lives and four others sustained injuries as a car collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction in Badakhshan province, north of Afghanistan, on Thursday evening, spokesman for provincial police office Ehsanullah Kamgar said Friday.
Blaming reckless driving for the deadly mishap, the official added that the injured commuters, some in critical condition, had been shifted to a nearby hospital. ■
