SINGAPORE, July 17 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) rose 20.7 percent year on year in June, easing from the 38.4 percent increase recorded in May, official data from Enterprise Singapore showed on Friday.
Electronic NODX surged 105.1 percent, supported by strong demand for artificial intelligence-related products, while non-electronic NODX fell 2.9 percent.
Non-oil re-exports increased 60.3 percent year on year in June, accelerating from a 33.5 percent rise in May. Electronic and non-electronic re-exports grew 83.1 percent and 28 percent, respectively.
Singapore's total merchandise trade expanded 49.3 percent in June, following a 39.6 percent increase in the previous month, as both exports and imports grew. ■
