BEIJING, July 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted the south of Fiji Islands at 2257 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 345.7 km, was initially determined to be at 26.27 degrees south latitude and 178.48 degrees west longitude. ■
