KABUL, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan has signed trade agreements worth 446.6 million afghanis (about 7 million U.S. dollars) with business delegations from Russia and Kazakhstan, the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment said on Tuesday.

The agreements were reached following business-to-business (B2B) meetings between Afghan and foreign business representatives, the chamber said.

The deals cover construction materials, pharmaceuticals, food products and agricultural services, and are aimed at expanding trade, promoting investment and strengthening long-term economic cooperation between the participating sides, the chamber added.

The chamber said the B2B meetings formed part of broader efforts to promote regional trade and facilitate direct engagement between Afghan businesses and foreign partners as the country seeks to strengthen economic cooperation across the region.
