TASHKENT, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed Dilnozaxon Kattaxonova as the new deputy prime minister and Chairperson of the Committee of Family and Women, press secretary for the head of state Sherzod Asadov said Friday.
She replaced Zulaykho Makhkamova, who had held the post since March 2022.
Prior to the new appointment, Kattaxonova had been serving as the first deputy director of the Youth Affairs Agency since December 2023. ■
