HANOI, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed after a truck lost control, crashed into a roadside guardrail and overturned on National Highway 9 in Vietnam's central province of Quang Tri on Wednesday, local media Tuoi Tre reported, citing local police.
The accident occurred at 12:30 p.m. in Dakrong commune, leaving the front of the truck severely damaged, according to the report.
Preliminary investigations showed that the truck was involved in a single-vehicle crash. Police are continuing to examine and collect evidence to clarify the cause of the accident, the report added. ■
