BISHKEK, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Several people were injured Tuesday after a Kyrgyz airline flight experienced an "emergency situation" at the Manas International Airport here, Kabar news agency reported, citing the press service of Kyrgyzstan Airports JSC.

According to preliminary information, the TezJet aircraft's rear landing gear collapsed during takeoff, causing the plane to tilt onto its left wing and strike the runway, the report said.

There were 181 passengers and six crew members on board. All passengers were evacuated from the aircraft, with no serious injuries reported. Medical personnel are providing first aid at the airport terminal.

Jet fuel was spilled following the incident, and firefighters were dispatched to the scene, it added.

Following the incident, the airport temporarily suspended all flights and will remain closed until 10 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), the report said.

The State Civil Aviation Agency will investigate the cause of the incident.
