JAKARTA, July 7 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's state revenue reached 1,459.4 trillion rupiah (around 81 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2026, or 46.3 percent of the annual target, Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said here on Tuesday.
The figure was up 21.4 percent from a year earlier, supported by stronger economic activity and improved tax and customs administration, Purbaya said.
Tax revenue totaled 1,187.8 trillion rupiah, while non-tax revenue reached 271 trillion rupiah, and total state spending rose 17.8 percent year on year to 1,656 trillion rupiah.
The budget deficit stood at 196.5 trillion rupiah, or 0.76 percent of GDP, while the primary balance posted a surplus of 85.1 trillion rupiah. ■
