KABUL, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Afghan security personnel discovered a drug processing lab and took into custody two persons involved in the drug business in Nangarhar province, eastern Afghanistan, on Monday, said a statement of the national army stationed in the province.
Acting on a tip-off, security forces raided a place in Ghani Khil district and seized over 20 kg of objects used in manufacturing illegal drugs, according to the statement.
The security personnel also arrested two individuals from the site on charges of involvement in the illegal business, it added. ■
