HANOI, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's gross domestic product (GDP) grew 8.18 percent in the first six months of this year, the National Statistics Office reported Friday.
The agriculture, forestry and fishery sector grew 3.87 percent year on year, while the industry and construction sector expanded 9.81 percent and the services sector rose 8.09 percent, the office said.
The Southeast Asian country is targeting GDP growth of 11.9 percent in the second half of 2026 to achieve double-digit economic growth for the full year, local daily Tien Phong reported. ■
