HANOI, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and another seriously injured when a fire broke out at a four-story townhouse in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Friday afternoon, local media VnExpress reported.
The blaze erupted at around 1:30 p.m. in the Van Phu urban area of Kien Hung ward.
The approximately 70-square-meter house was used as a furniture store on the first and second floors, while the upper floors served as living quarters.
Firefighters later found two victims dead on an upper floor. Their identities have yet to be confirmed.
Police are investigating the cause of the fire. ■
