BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Fiji Islands region at 1528 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 461.5 km, was initially determined to be at 21.34 degrees south latitude and 178.28 degrees west longitude. ■
