JAKARTA, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian police have dismantled a drug trafficking network operating between Malaysia and Indonesia, arresting two suspects and seizing about 27 kilograms of methamphetamine in Riau province, authorities said Wednesday.
The seizure followed an operation by the national police's criminal investigation agency and customs officials in the coastal district of Bengkalis.
Authorities traced the network through digital analysis and arrested two Indonesian suspects in separate raids early Wednesday. Another suspect remains at large.
The suspects have been transferred to Jakarta for further investigation, while laboratory testing of the drugs is ongoing. ■
