KABUL, June 10 (Xinhua) - Afghan authorities have launched the construction of three school buildings in Rustaq district of northern Afghanistan's Takhar province, the provincial government office said on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the schools will be built along with the necessary supporting facilities to provide a suitable learning environment for students.
Upon completion, the projects are expected to benefit hundreds of students by improving access to education and addressing the shortage of adequate educational facilities in the district, the statement said.
The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the education sector and enhance learning conditions in the province. ■
