BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 10 (Xinhua) -- In an era defined by rapid technological shifts, global uncertainties and the urgent need for sustainable practices, education systems must continue to evolve, Brunei's minister of Education said on Tuesday.

Speaking at an international symposium on educational development held near the capital, Hajah Romaizah Haji Mohd Salleh, minister of Education, said education systems need to become more resilient, inclusive and forward-looking to address emerging challenges and opportunities.

The minister added that the challenges, whether the digital divide or the need for pedagogical reform, were too great for any single institution or country to solve alone.

She stressed the importance of cooperation and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders, noting that meaningful progress can only be achieved through collective efforts.

The symposium featured keynote addresses and explored issues relating to curriculum transformation, future-ready universities, innovation and the evolving landscape of teacher education.
