KABUL, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Seven travelers were injured, some in critical condition, after a car turned turtle in Kunduz province, north of Afghanistan, on Tuesday evening, provincial police spokesman Jumadin Khaksar said Wednesday.
Without providing more details, the official blamed reckless driving for the accident, calling on motorists to respect traffic rules and regulations when driving on the congested roads.
Previously, a similar road crash claimed five lives and injured another in the eastern Wardak province on Saturday.
At least eight commuters have lost their lives, and 16 others sustained injuries due to road accidents since the weekend in Afghanistan. ■
