HANOI, May 11 (Xinhua) -- The second session of the 16th National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam, scheduled for October and November this year, is expected to last about 30 days, local media Voice of Vietnam (VOV) reported Monday.
The schedule was announced during a meeting of the NA Standing Committee on Monday to discuss preparations for the upcoming session.
The session is expected to consider and adopt 36 draft laws and resolutions, along with six groups of issues related to socio-economic development, finance, the state budget, supervision and other important matters, the report said.
Legislators will also spend two and a half days conducting question-and-answer sessions, according to the report. ■
