BEIJING, May 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Admiralty Islands Region, Papua New Guinea, at 2118 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 2.92 degrees south latitude and 147.70 degrees east longitude. ■
