HANOI, May 4 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam received 2.03 million international arrivals in April, bringing the total for the first four months to 8.8 million, the Vietnam News Agency reported Monday, citing the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism.
The figure accounts for 35 percent of the country's full-year target of 25 million international arrivals, the authority said.
It is the first time Vietnam has recorded more than 2 million foreign arrivals for four consecutive months, while the January-April total has also reached a record 8.8 million, according to the report.
Vietnam's two largest source markets during the period were China and South Korea, accounting for about 39.8 percent of the total international arrivals. ■
