BEIJING, May 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Mid-Indian Ridge at 1728 GMT Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 27.80 degrees south latitude and 73.71 degrees east longitude. ■
