KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The Defense Services Asia 2026, a biennial defense and weaponry expo, concluded on Thursday in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.
The expo, which ran from April 20 to 23, attracted 1,456 companies from 63 countries, including 37 international pavilions, plus around 600 official delegations and 50,000 trade visitors from over 114 nations, across a 48,000-square-meter space, the organizer said.
It also served as a platform for talks on new and emerging security threats, including this year's edition of the Putrajaya Forum, organized by the Malaysian Institute of Defense and Security and NATSEC Asia (National Security Asia), which focuses on domestic security and runs concurrently with the expo. ■
