ISLAMABAD, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday received a telephone call from French President Emmanuel Macron, with both sides expressing their serious concern over the ongoing aggression in Lebanon, according to the Prime Minister's Office.
During the conversation, both leaders stressed the urgent need to end the violence and killings in Lebanon to reestablish peace in the entire region, the office said in a statement. ■
