KABUL, April 7 (Xinhua) -- Two traffic accidents occurred in separate regions of Afghanistan, resulting in two fatalities and multiple injuries, the official Bakhtar news agency said on Tuesday.
In western Afghanistan's Farah province, a road accident led to the death of one individual and left four others injured. The incident took place on a local roadway, with some of the injured reported to be in critical condition.
In a separate incident in eastern Khost province, another traffic accident claimed one life. Preliminary reports indicate that reckless driving was a contributing factor in the crash.
Local authorities have issued reminders to motorists to exercise increased caution while driving, highlighting the often challenging weather and road conditions across many parts of the country. ■
