ULAN BATOR, April 3 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's foreign exchange reserves reached a record high of 7.2 billion U.S. dollars by the end of the first quarter of this year, according to official data released on Thursday by the country's central bank.
This figure marks an increase of 182.5 million dollars compared to the beginning of the year, the Bank of Mongolia said in a statement.
The central bank aims to raise the country's foreign exchange reserves to 10 billion dollars in the long term. ■
