NEW DELHI, March 27 (Xinhua) -- The Indian government on Friday approved proposals for acquiring defence equipment, such as aircraft, S-400 missiles and strike drones, worth nearly 2.38 trillion Indian Rupees (about 25 billion U.S. dollars) for all three defence wings.
The proposals were approved at a meeting of the Defence Acquisition Council chaired by the country's defence minister in New Delhi. ■
