ISLAMABAD, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Two motorcyclists, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed after a water tanker hit their motorcycle in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Monday, rescue officials said.
The accident occurred in South District of Karachi near Defence Mor, where a speeding tanker lost control and rammed into a motorcycle, according to state-run Rescue 1122.
Both victims died on the spot, and their bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities.
Police said the tanker driver fled the scene after the accident, and efforts were underway to apprehend him. ■
