HANOI, March 23 (Xinhua) -- The 14th Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) opened its second meeting in Hanoi on Monday, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
The committee is set to deliberate and decide on a wide range of issues, underpinning the implementation of the resolution adopted at the 14th National Party Congress, political system efficiency, and the country's sustainable development for the 2026-2031 period and beyond, said the report.
The agenda also includes reviewing personnel arrangements for leadership posts in state bodies for the 2026-2031 term.
Delivering his opening remarks, General Secretary of the CPVCC To Lam stated that the meeting will establish key legal frameworks, operational rules and disciplinary principles to translate the resolution into action.
The meeting is scheduled to run through March 27. ■
