BEIJING, March 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Fiji Islands Region at 1809 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 560.3 km, was initially determined to be at 17.52 degrees south latitude and 178.60 degrees west longitude. ■
