KATHMANDU, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Six pilgrims died after an electric microbus fell off a cliff in Nepal's Gorkha district on Saturday evening, said a local official.
Eight others were injured, said Netra Prasad Sharma, spokesperson at the district administration office.
A joint team of Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force was mobilized for the rescue immediately after the reports of the accident. Sharma said the difficult terrain could have led to the fatal accident. ■
