KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 (Xinhua) -- A forest fire broke out on Wednesday near a residential area in Malaysia's Selangor state, burning approximately two acres of hill forest land.
According to Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, assistant director of operations with Selangor's fire and rescue department, 21 personnel have been deployed to contain the blaze, with firefighting efforts going on. No casualties or structural damage have been reported so far. ■
