TASHKENT, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan's gold and foreign exchange reserves reached 77.08 billion U.S. dollars as of March 1, according to data from the country's central bank.
According to the regulator's report, the country's international assets increased by 2 billion U.S. dollars over the past month. As of February 1, the figure stood at around 75 billion U.S. dollars.
The report noted that the growth in reserves was driven by the increasing value of precious metals.
By the end of 2025, Uzbekistan's gold and foreign exchange reserves amounted to 66.3 billion U.S. dollars. ■
