KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 (Xinhua) -- The Malaysian government will roll out a new integrated monitoring mechanism to ensure the implementation of the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) by the third quarter this year, according to Economy Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir.
The mechanism will enable the government to track and assess the achievement of strategies and objectives under the 13MP more effectively, Akmal told the country's parliament on Tuesday.
Akmal also said that the mechanism aligns with the strategic objectives of the 13MP, and any project delays would be reflected in the government's overall performance against its targets. ■
