HANOI, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Six people previously reported missing since Saturday have been confirmed dead following a boat capsize in north Vietnam's Lao Cai province, the Vietnam News Agency reported Sunday.
The boat was carrying 22 passengers and one driver when it overturned at about 7:15 p.m. local time on Saturday after colliding with another vessel, the report said.
All six victims were initially reported missing after the incident. Their bodies were later recovered by rescue forces, according to the report.
Further investigation is underway. ■
