JAKARTA, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia and the United States have signed a reciprocal trade agreement under which Washington will maintain the previously agreed 19-percent tariff on goods from the Southeast Asian country, Indonesian authorities said on Friday.

The document was signed in Washington by Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.

Under the deal, Indonesia will cut trade barriers on more than 99 percent of U.S. goods entering Indonesia, and the United States will apply a 19-percent reciprocal tariff on imports from Indonesia, with certain products granted a zero percent rate.
