KABUL, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and six others sustained injuries as a landslide struck a house in the eastern Afghanistan Kapisa province late Friday, provincial police spokesman Abdul Fatah Faiz said Saturday.
The natural disaster occurred in Shukhi village outside the provincial capital Mahmud-e-Raqi, the official added, without providing further details.
Most residential houses in Afghanistan, particularly in rural areas, are made of mud, making them vulnerable to landslides, rain and snowfall, occasionally resulting in loss of life and property damage. ■
