PHNOM PENH, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's APSARA National Authority (ANA) has continued to develop temple circuits and new tourism products to enhance visitor experiences and encourage longer stays at the Angkor Archaeological Park, said its news release on Tuesday.
Seng Sotheara, director of the ANA's department of tourism development and culture, said the expert team is studying and preparing multiple circuits by installing tourist facilities that provide information on temple history, attractions, and recommended visiting times.
"These efforts aim to help both national and international tourists better understand the historical and artistic value of the temples," he said.
"Studies for circuits in both small and grand circuits have already been completed at many temples, with only some facilities remaining to be installed before implementation," he added.
"These developments aim to diversify tourism options and attract visitors who are returning to Angkor for a second or third visit," he said.
Located in northwest Cambodia's Siem Reap province, the 401-square-km Angkor Archaeological Park is home to 91 ancient temples being built from the ninth to the 13th centuries.
The kingdom's most popular tourist destination attracted a total of 955,131 international tourists in 2025, generating a gross revenue of 44.7 million U.S. dollars from ticket sales, according to the state-owned Angkor Enterprise. ■
