ISLAMABAD, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- At least 58 terrorists, 15 troops, policemen and civilians were killed during follow-up operations launched in response to coordinated attacks in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, security sources said on Saturday.
The operations were conducted at multiple locations across the province as part of an ongoing crackdown against separatist outfits operating in the province, the sources told Xinhua.
The sources said that 10 personnel from the security forces and police were killed during the operations.
In a separate incident linked to the attacks, five members of a Baloch laborer family, including a woman and three children, were killed in the port city of Gwadar after coming under terrorist violence.
Security forces have continued search and clearance operations in the affected areas, supported by aerial surveillance, to eliminate any remaining militants and restore security, the sources added. ■
